Africa on Foot is an intimate hideaway situated in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger. Famed for its guided walking safaris and informative game drives, Africa on Foot is a major drawcard for safari-goers seeking an unforgettable safari adventure in an exclusive Big 5 destination.
Guests can expect a convivial atmosphere in a comfortable camp boasting all the creature comforts from home. Camp life is simple and easy-going, where the focus is on connecting with others in wild spaces and indulging in a relaxed tempo of life. On site, there is a quaint bar that flows through to a shared dining area, and an outdoor boma section. On balmy summer days, guests can relax at their choice of two splash pools, each furnished with decking and sun loungers.
Sprawled across the camp there are 5 chalets built from brick and thatch, each furnished with rustic decor and simple colour accents inspired by the surrounding bushveld. Rooms have mosquito nets, showers, and standing fans. For the more adventurous, there is a treehouse which can be booked at an extra cost.
Morning bush walks and evening game drives take place on the 13 000-hectare traverse, both led by professional guides and trackers. Game drives take place in lieu of walks if the weather is unpredictable; ensuring that there are always two activities per day.
